Well, me and my husband bought a house and we are having to move in June so I am basically marking down almost everything to get it out of the apartment before we move. I marked almost everything down to $100.00 not including shipping as I am hoping to move more locally and quickly but if someone is wanting an item shipped just let me know and we can work out shipping cost.

Once we move, the items that don't sell will be going back up to the previous cost as we have been slowly selling pieces, we ended up selling I think it was 9 pieces in 2007 and we didn't get the website up until sometime past mid year.

I appreciate everyone's interest so far in my work and once we get moved to the new location I am going to continue painting as I have now. I have one more piece to add to the site soon and that may be all the work I do until we move.

I had my first meeting with a gallery this week and it was a success. After looking over my art, Terence Jackson at the U*Space Gallery in downtown Atlanta decided to take me on as a new artist. The current pieces he picked that will be in the show below and in the gallery are:

I also have my first gallery show this week at the U*Space Gallery that I am apart of which is titled "We Come Bearing Gifts" which is the U*Space Gallery Christmas show. This show will be this Friday, December 7th from 7pm to 11pm. I will be at the show answering any questions about my work so if you get a chance come on down to the gallery and check it out.

I have been picked as a "Featured Artist" at Performing Artist Inc. for the month of December. This means I will be included in their quarterly newletter that is paper which is mailed out to over 700 people in the Southern Region. I will also have a spot on their website where I will have one piece of art show along with my Bio. If you would like to sign up for their newletter please go here to submit your info.

After several request I am going to begin to build a mailing list for people who want to be notified when new works are released, prices are updated, or any information information relating to the site. This depicts the final stage in the lifecycle of the tree. The daughters of Eve are fully expecting to create new life as much as the apple will.

The little girl in the painting is very brightly painted and full of life. There are very dark undertones to this girl though. She has got something planned but won't tell you what it is. I painting this with the mischief of children in mind.

The tree of life and death was painted as a symbol of how women are expected to provide nourishment for everything around them yet so often they don't nourish themselves and therefore wither and die.
